50 Fruity Facts About Me…
- I’ve lived in 3 houses and 1 flat, but they have all been in Haydock
- In 2010 I have been working for 20 years
- I have naturally very curly hair
- I have it chemically straightened…. a “reverse perm” if you like
- I have 1 Gran, 1 sister, 1 mum, 1 dad, 1 auntie, 1 uncle and 2 cousins,
- My mum’s middle name is Esther (she hates it)
- Neither my sister or I have a middle name (see previous answer for reason)
- I have run the Manchester 10k twice
- I have been a member of Weight Watchers for 10 years
- My weight goes up and down regardless
- I have been in love twice
- This time my love is for keeps
- I have a dog called Peggy and she was my 30th birthday present
- I once owned a long haired cat for 1 day and 3 hours. I was allergic and it had to go back.
- I have also owned a budgie and some fish
- The budgie “George” flew out of an open window one Summer after escaping from his cage. I had make and emergency trip to buy “George II”, as he had been a present from a friend that still visited
- I can’t stand Vimto or Egg butties
- I love chocolate and risotto – but not together! *although………*
- I blog because I love it
- I once auditioned for Ready Steady Cook….I didn’t get on
- I played The Wicked Witch of the West in a school play once and was brilliant, even though “Dorothy” threw a fake mop at me at the end instead of water (for the melting the witch moment). It had a very real iron centre and it hit me on the head and gave me a shiner and dizzy spells for the rest of the evening.

- I can’t stand thoughtless people
- By choice, I don’t have any children
- I have phobias of vomiting (& related) and dentists
- I do go to the dentist, but he knocks me unconscious before I even open my mouth

- People look at me like I’ve got two heads when I tell them I don’t drink alcohol

- A number one digit different than my mobile number appeared in the Ali G film “In da house”. I was inundated with calls and texts for months for people asking for “Mi Julie”
- I love Christmas

- I have IBS and can sometimes be guilty of the odd bubble-cake
- I already miss Big Brother
- I have spent hundreds of hours watching box sets series and I LOVE IT
- I always think I am incredibly unfit, but even for a non skinny-minny, I do better than most.
- I love the snow
- I can’t stand football
- I love Bigbury Beach
- I love fine dining
- I am very friendly and social and will chat to anyone. But mostly I like to watch other people chat.
- I am a very good dancer and can sing a little bit too
- I have a very visual memory and remember people in films or TV programmes for year and years and years.
- I wish I could speak another language
