Race for Life 2011 – oh the Irony
I have taken part in Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK every year since 2004. In 2004 my lovely Grandad died from esophageal cancer and when I went on the Cancer Research website to donate something, I found R4L. Since then I have run/walked/jogged in the following:

This year, I was also registered to take part in the Haydock Race for Life in the July, but as I am due to have a hysterectomy around the 13th July, I won’t be able to run.
I am gutted, as it is all the more important this year, with my Gran having cancer. Still, at least I did the Shine, in which Moochy and I raised over £300. It all helps… hopefully xxx

Wow, so today the entries for Race for Life have opened. I have signed up to do the one at Haydock Park again as it’s only about 1½ miles away from my house!
